Day 3: Compassion Devotional

Devotional: Extending mercy is a crucial aspect of compassion. Jesus taught that those who are merciful will receive mercy. Being in a position to extend mercy means that we must actively look for those in need. It’s not enough to feel compassion; we must act on it. This might mean breaking social norms or stepping out of our comfort zones, just as Jesus did.

Verse: God will show mercy in the kingdom to those who are merciful. He says, blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. – Matthew 5:7
